Le strade di Torino

Valentina | The foodie

Hello everybody, I am Valentina! I’m from Biella but I live in Turin since 5 years. I work in the creative field and I have a big passion for everything that comes with food. In my free time, you can find me in the kitchen, tasting new recipes, or around town looking for tasty experiences to tell you.

Hyperactive by nature, curious, and I’ve got a sweet tooth. I can’t say no to a slice of cake or an icecream, but at lunch time you can definitely find me at the gym, between treadmill and barbells!

I definitely think that in life you don’t have to give up your pleasures to feel good, but the secret is in between, you have to find the right balance.

I buy a ton of cookbooks and I am “Pistachio addict”. I love the sunnydays in springtime and I like to explore the city by bike.

Things I cannot live without || My healthy packed lunch, my two funny cats, the Sunday breakfast (a ritual) and the sun in springtime.

Favourite coffee place in Turin || Morning coffee at Beccuti, waking up with the smell of roasted coffee served in a blue porcelain cup. A dream!

For the afternoon “Convitto Café” because you can drink your coffee with their homemade delicious cakes… and if you’ve got a sweet tooth, like me, order the” three slice tasting” dish!

Favourite street || I love to wander in Quadrilatero’s narrow streets, from Via Barbaroux to Largo IV Marzo and get to Porta Palatina.

The thing that makes me feel Torinese || Saturday morning shopping at Santa Giulia’s market, getting around town by bike and the traditional happy hour in the square.
